These recordings are made during Milt Gabler's Sunday Jam Session. Bunk, Sidnet and Pops Foster were booked to play two sets. Sandy Williams (tb) and Hank Duncan (pi) played the first set. In the second set they were replaced by Goerge Lugg (tb) and Sammy Price (pi).
Louis Metcalf (tp) and Bobby Stark (tp) also participated in this session to play "Bugle Call Rag" with Bunk.
